Ms. Lia (Director of Staff and Finance and Frog Class Teacher)
Ms. Lia has been a high school Spanish teacher for three years. She is the Director of Finance and Staffing at Presbyterian Preschool and this is her 8th year teaching. She has a bachelors degree in Secondary Education with an endorsement in Spanish and Portuguese (she is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese!) and a master's degree in Social Policy. She has traveled extensively in the U.S. and abroad and has lived in Brazil and the Netherlands. Her passion is teaching, traveling, and learning about the world.
Ms. Kristi (Director of Students and Families and Polliwog Class Teacher)
Ms. Kristi joined the team at Presbyterian Preschool in 2024. She obtained her master’s degree in Social Work at Southern Illinois University and her bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Illinois. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor. Ms. Kristi loves to spend her free time rock climbing, running, and going to the park with her two children.
Mrs. Hannah (Frog Class Teacher)
This is Hannah’s first year teaching at Presbyterian Preschool. Mrs. Hannah has taught kindergarten for the past 2 years. She graduated from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale with an Elementary Education degree and later got her Early Childhood Endorsement. When Mrs. Hannah is not teaching children, she loves to read, craft, and go on long walks.
Mrs. Tammy (Polliwog Class Teacher)
This is Mrs. Tammy's first year teaching at Presbyterian Preschool. She obtained her master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2016 from Southern Illinois University. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her family and her two dogs.
Mrs. Kimberly (Director of Social Media)
Mrs. Kimberly taught for 10 years and was director for 8 years at Presbyterian Preschool. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language & Literature with a Minor in Psychology at SIUC. She has worked in diverse educational settings. She has three sons, Jace, Oliver, and Miles. Mrs. Kimberly delights in good food, enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
