Our Teachers

Ms. Lia (Frog Teacher)
Ms. Lia has been a high school Spanish teacher for three years.  This is her 7th year of teaching at Presbyterian Preschool.  She has a Bachelors in Secondary Education with an endorsement in Spanish and Portuguese (she is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese!) and a Master's degree in Social Policy.  She has traveled extensively in the U.S. and abroad and has lived in Brazil and the Netherlands.  Her passion is teaching, traveling, and learning about the world.

Ms. Lauren (Polliwog/Tadpole Teacher)

Ms. Lauren is excited to join and support some amazing educators here at Presbyterian this school year. She's also looking forward to becoming a familiar face in the Polliwog/Tadpole classes. She is returning to work after taking a few years off to stay at home and raise her two young children. She has called southern Illinois home her whole life and when she's not here, she can be found having outdoor adventures with her husband and children.

Ms. Kimberly (Director and Frog Teacher)

Ms. Kimberly has worked in diverse educational settings for many years.  She is the director of Presbyterian Preschool and this is her 9th year teaching.  She earned her Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language & Literature with a Minor in Psychology at SIUC.  Ms. Kimberly enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family and two boys Jace and Oliver.
